Long lost blog...here I am again.

Obviously, this blog is beyond neglected...it's just plain not used. But, I wanted to update it and rather then trying to go back and recover the past couple years, I'm just going to post some of the pictures that I took this past weekend. Oh wait, before I do that let me include a few lovely bridal photos from June. Then we'll get to the two families I did this past weekend. What beautiful people!!!

It's Great to be Eight!!

After a long hiatus the Son of the Danube Returns...considering there will be another Son in about a month this may be only a brief blurb on the blog horizon...maybe. But for now...here some pictures from our birthday dinner yesterday!






I think eight years old is just about a prime Birthday year. Rose was very sweet and felt very special all day.

Rob took Rose to IHOP for breakfast where Rose stood on a chair while they sang to her and the waitress gave her a dollar!


What can you say about a face like that? At the end of the night, true to her passion, this art set was Rose's favorite gift. It was a good day indeed.

Family photos in South Irving

When I first saw this family walking toward me in a South Irving Park I knew that if I did my job we'd have some beautiful images. Besides being naturally beautiful the ladies had on brightly colored saris looked so breezy and picturesque. I think that we came up with some great shots--some of my favorites are the great smiles from Grandma with the grandkids and those little the babies with their mamas!

Singing in the Rain

These are some photos I took the other day when Peter and Rose were dancing around in the rain. They we're having fun with wild abandon. Even though it doesn't fit the rain theme I can't resist including the last picture--it is my youngest enjoying his first go at corn on the cob and eating corn has never been so cute!!!

Sleepyhead--newborn photo shoot

This little guy couldn't have been more sweet or more oblivious to being the center of attention. His serious sleeping made for some beautiful photos. Rest up, little fellow--you've got lots of living to do.

Texas Winter Wonderland

Here are some pictures from the snowiest 24 hour hour period on record in Texas. In all, we got 11.5 inches of the fluffy white stuff!
